My grandson has had Alma Marianos as a piano teacher for over a year.
He was 11 years old when he started and had no previous piano playing experience. She is a teacher that makes it fun, and lets the child know exactly what is expected. She praises and encourages, which makes him not want to disappoint her by not practicing.
Since I have no music background I can't really speak to her teaching ability. However, at the sessions where students from other teachers were performing, Alma's students were the most prepared, and did the best.
She is a delightful person, and very organized. Lessons are on time, and communication is always clear and timely. I am sure she would do great at any position she is given.
